Job Purpose
As a Receptionist cum Admin, you will be the first point of contact for our organisation. Duties include offering administrative support across the organisation. You will welcome guests and greet people who visit the business.
You will also coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls. Multitasking skill is essential for this position.
Ultimately, a Receptionist cum Admin Assistant’s duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes guests positively and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards.
Job Responsibilities- Receiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately.
- Answer and route incoming phone calls to the appropriate personnel efficiently.
- Ensure the reception area is clean and tidy and presents a professional image of the company.
- Update calendars and schedule meetings and prepare meeting rooms.
- Manage ordering and keeping track of all office/boutiques and general supplies (stationery, bottled water, operational items, etc.)
- Sort and distribute all incoming mail and courier services to the correct recipients.
- Address any inquiries at the reception area, offering prompt and helpful assistance to resolve questions or concerns.
- Perform administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and record-keeping.
- Work closely with Community Manager and provide support in all ad-hoc and administrative duties when assigned.
