Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in procurement (fresh produce / supermarket / e-commerce preferred)
- Strong understanding of fresh market pricing and supply dynamics
- Good negotiation, cost control, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic systems
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work early shifts / flexible hours
- Plan and execute daily purchasing based on sales data, inventory levels, and market demand
- Source, evaluate, and manage reliable suppliers
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules
- Monitor market prices and control purchasing costs
- Ensure product quality, freshness, and supply stability
- Manage stock movement, aging inventory, wastage, and turnover rate
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier database, and pricing information
- Work closely with warehouse, operations, marketing, and customer service teams
- Support promotions, seasonal campaigns, and new product sourcing
- Provide market insights to improve product assortment and pricing strategy
