Internship For Safety, Health & Environment

Job Summary

The Safety, Health & Environment Intern (SHE) reports to the Project Manager. He is responsible for ensuring the implementation and maintenance of the Company's QSHE policies, especially with regard to the continual improvement process. Initially, the emphasis will be on the implementation of a management system that meets the requirements for safety and health contained in ISO9001:2015, OHSAS 45001:2018, and ISO 14001:2015 as set by an accredited certification body.

• Diploma or Degree Engineering in OSH Management
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Independent
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
• Knowledge in ISO9001:2015 QMS, ISO 14001:2015 EMS & ISO45001:2018 OHSM is added advantage.
• Implementation of the EPSB Safety & Health policy, management, and operating procedures.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and assist the Safety & Health Committee in conducting safety inspections.
• Assist SHO/ SSS to ensure compliance and update related issues.
• To assist SHO/SSS, monitor the CIDB registry closely for site workers and staff.
• To assist SHO / SSS, prepare documents such as the Manual, Standard of Procedure (SOP), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Hazard Identification Risk Assessment Risk Control (HIRAC), etc.
• To assist SHO / SSS in joining the inspection with JKKP for machinery inspection as and when necessary.
• To assist SHO / SSS in updating the master list of general workers on a monthly basis for Econpile, Chombing (Sub-Contractor) & Edar Maksima (Sub-Contractor)
