Senior Executive, Collection
Job Description
Job Purpose:
The Senior Executive, Collection is responsible for managing and reconciling daily bank settlements, ensuring timely and accurate receipt application, and maintaining up-to-date customer aging in accordance with company policies. This role supports month-end closing activities, including journal postings and balance sheet reconciliations, while also assisting with audit requirements and driving continuous improvements in the collection and settlement process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing reconciliation for bank host by various MID to Order Management System
- Support daily download and upload bank settlement file to finexus system and follow up on missing settlement file
- Download and attach the bank statements
- Create Journal/ Receipts in Oracle for month end closing mainly related to bank charges, refund and receipt in bank
- Review accuracy for the subsequent payment
- Monthly apply receipt and ensure customer aging is within the aging period as per company policies.
- Prepare monthly Balance sheet schedule
- Prepare monthly Bank Host Reconciliation
- Solve issue request and Ad-Hoc task operation
- Assist to provide supporting documents for audit
- Work on improvement project
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English.
- Independent, strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience with Oracle is preferred.
- Good skills in Microsoft Excel, Google sheet.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
