Bukit Mertajam - Accounting Executive

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Account Executive to manage the company’s full set of accounts and operational finance functions. This role includes responsibility for e-Invoicing compliance (in line with LHDN’s MyInvois system rollout) and adherence to SST (Sales and Service Tax) regulations—both crucial to the accounting operations.

• Handle full spectrum of accounting functions including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger (GL).
• Record and reconcile daily transactions including sales, purchases, payments, and receipts.
• Ensure all accounting entries reflect accurate SST treatment where applicable.
• Manage and ensure compliance with SST regulations, including accurate classification of taxable supplies and preparation of SST returns (Form SST-02).
• Ensure timely processing of payments, claims, payroll, and statutory submissions (e.g., EPF, SOCSO, LHDN).
• Prepare and process invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and claims in a timely and accurate manner to suppliers and staff claims.
• Ensure timely collection of accounts receivable.
• Maintain an up-to-date debtors aging report, follow up actively on overdue accounts.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretary, and government authorities (e.g., LHDN, EPF, SOCSO).
• Support the annual audit process with timely and accurate reporting.
• Performing other administration work, accounting work and ad-hoc task as assigned.
• Prior experience required at least 1 to 2 years 需有经验
• Basic computer knowledge 需懂电脑基本操作
• Good attitude and responsible 工作态度好，有责任感
• Proficient in English, Malay and Chinese (preferably) 通晓中文，英文及马来文
• Can work independently with minimum supervision 可以在最低限度的监督下独立工作
• Working Hours & Day : Monday - Friday , 9am-6pm, Saturday , 9am-1pm (alternate)
• Location : Jelutong, Georgetow Penang
