Tax Analyst (Indirect)

Have a Bachelor' s degree in a related finance subject and work experience in a tax/accounting environment

• Have minimum 3-5 years corporate tax and /or Indirect Tax experience for any tax jurisdiction.
• Possess good analytical skills with proactive mind-set, with the ability to bring expert advice and problem-solving skills to the team.
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia to support APAC region.
• Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to work independently. Strong problem solving skills.
• Required skills: Indirect Tax, Tax Analysis, Tax Compliance, Financial Reporting
• Preparing tax compliances for APAC region such as the corporate income tax returns, indirect tax returns (VAT, GST, WHT, Stamp duty), tax account reconciliation and supporting tax audit.
• End-to-end management and coordination with internal stakeholders and external advisors for during the completion of tax compliance process.
• Reconciling all balance sheet tax accounts monthly and any other duties as required
• Documenting and communicating abnormal tax expenses to Operations and Management.
• Able to extract, analyze, and review data and make appropriate recommendations
• Identify and drive automation projects, process improvements which increase efficiency and scalability of data.
• Streamline audit management – turnaround of data in response to tax notices.
• Coordinate information requests with internal and external service providers to ensure accurate and timely closure of tax reporting deliverables.
• Keeping the company abreast of all legal taxation matters that could have an impact of the running of a successful tax practice i.e., audits, tax updates.
• Working Hour: Monday – Friday / 8.00AM – 5.00PM
• Contract Duration: 6 Months
• Salary Range: Up to RM5,000.00
