An exciting opportunity for a finance professional passionate about investment analysis and fund management to contribute to monitoring fund-of-funds performance, supporting investment appraisals, and assisting in compliance and reporting obligations within Sunway Group.The role requires strong financial expertise and the ability to work independently to track portfolio company performance, prepare investment committee materials, and engage with regulatory and LP reporting. Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze the performance of funds under management and portfolio companies, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses to support investment appraisals and strategic decision-making.
- Assist in preparing investment committee (IC) materials including investment memos, performance reports, and recommendations.
- Support compliance reporting to regulatory bodies such as the Securities Commission, and contribute to Limited Partner (LP) reporting on fund performance and related metrics.
- Participate in due diligence, valuation assessments, and operational reviews of portfolio companies, collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
- Work closely with senior management and investment teams on M&A, fund-of-funds, and venture capital projects.
- Identify and escalate key issues and opportunities impacting funds and portfolio performance.
- Maintain relationships with entrepreneurs, fund managers, LPs, and other stakeholders to stay updated on industry trends and opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline. CFA charterholder or CFA candidate preferred but not mandatory.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in investment analysis, private equity, fund management, venture capital, audit, finance or related areas.
- Strong financial modeling and Excel skills; experience with portfolio or fund management software is an advantage.
- Analytical thinker with ability to interpret financial data, assess investment risks, and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, with ability to prepare clear, concise reports and present findings to senior stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and commitment to high standards.
- Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and strong work ethic.
