Sales Associate

• Willing to work afternoon shifts, weekends, public holidays, and during festive seasons.
• Able to speak and understand English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an added advantage).
• Previous sales or retail experience is a plus.
• Comfortable handling animals of all kinds, including dogs, and committed to their welfare.
• Willing to perform cleaning duties, including cleaning cages, handling waste, and working in smelly/dirty environments.
• Physically fit to lift and carry heavy items (e.g., animal cages, large pet food bags).
• Friendly, responsible, and passionate about pets and customer service.

OR

• Working experience in the sales industry.
• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. (Mandarin and other language is a plus)
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sales and customer service focus.
• Confident, adaptability, teamwork, helpful and engaging personality.

• Engage with customers, assist with product selection and purchases, and perform cashiering duties (handling payments).
• Actively promote pet care products and services to achieve monthly sales targets.
• Assist and educate customers during interactions with animals (e.g., cats, dogs, small pets).
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the store — including sales floor, backroom, and animal enclosures.
• Feed, handle, and care for animals including: Cats, dogs, guinea pigs, hamsters, rabbits, reptiles, insects, and fish
• Monitor and maintain animal welfare — ensure proper temperature, hygiene, and living conditions.
• Unpack, label, and restock merchandise on shelves and displays.
• Create and manage simple content for social media platforms (product highlights, store updates, etc.)

OR

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Follow all companies' policies and procedures.
• Accurately describe our petting zoo annual pass and ongoing promotion packages to our customers.
• Keep up to date with our promotion and any other collaboration information.
• Recommend and upsell petting zoo annual pass or any other promotion to our customers.
• Do social media posting or live during free time to promote our petting zoo or any other content related to our company.
• Basic sales closing and cashiering skills.
