General Manager / Deputy General Manager (Manufacturing - Automotive) New - Kajang - ref. c44048523

Our client is a leading automotive parts manufacturer with a global presence. As part of their expansion, they are looking for an experienced General Manager / Deputy GM for their Manufacturing division. This role will be based at Bukit Beruntung, Selangor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the implementation of authorised quality procedures in the Manufacturing division.
• Ensuring the achievement of production schedules at acceptable quality and cost.
• Ensuring all production resources are efficiently and effectively utilised and maintained.
• Ensuring all products fully comply with all quality requirements and conform to customer specifications.
• Planning plant expansion, capacity increase and staff recruitment in accordance with sales projections.
• Ensuring the smooth and timely introduction of new products including design and development work, tooling and jigs/fixtures fabrication and parts localisation.
• Ensuring the workplace is kept clean and orderly to promote safe working environment to enhance employee morale.
• Liaising with other departments within the company and Worker’s Consultative Council to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the company.
• Holding management meeting at regular intervals to continually review and improve the plant operations.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as and when assigned by superior.

Job Requirements:

• At least 10 years' experience or more in manufacturing, preferably for the automotive industry.
• Proven experience in leading manufacturing plant operation and production matters
• Willing to work at and be based at Bukit Beruntung, Selangor.
• Ability to speak/write Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage different stakeholders.
