We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager / Purchaser to join our dynamic team at ABANG USEDCAR SDN. BHD. in Puchong, Selangor. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and sourcing high-quality used vehicles to expand our inventory.
Your strategic approach and exceptional sales skills will be integral to the company's continued success.
What you'll be doing- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our customer base
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to secure new clients and contracts
- Negotiate favourable terms and prices when acquiring used vehicles for our inventory
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors and industry partners
- Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify potential growth areas
- Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to ensure a seamless buying and selling experience for customers
- Contribute to the development of marketing and promotional campaigns
- Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets and key performance indicators
- Proven track record of success in new business development, sales or purchasing roles within the automotive industry
- Able speak in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to analyse and interpret market data to inform business decisions
- Proficient in using CRM systems and other sales-related software
- Passion for the automotive industry and a keen eye for identifying high-quality used vehicles
- Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
