What you'll do:
As a Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in directing and overseeing all aspects of finance and accounting functions within our client's organisation. You will ensure timely closing of monthly management accounts, oversee financial operations of foreign subsidiaries, prepare operating budgets for board approval, and coordinate the preparation of the Annual Report.Your role will also involve assisting in managing operational aspects of manufacturing and business activities. - Direct and oversee all aspects of finance and accounting functions of the Group entities.
- Ensure timely closing of monthly management accounts, and half-yearly and full-year release of financial results to stock exchange operator.
- Oversee the financial operations of foreign subsidiaries.
- Prepare operating / Capex budgets for the Board’s approval.
- Coordinate the preparation of the Annual Report, ensuring the integrity of financial information therein.
- Assist in managing the operational aspects of manufacturing and business activities, including review of legal agreements and documentation.
- Maintain relations with internal auditors, external auditors, company secretaries, and lawyers.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Finance Manager position brings professional qualifications in accounting with at least 5 years' experience. You have spent at least 3 years in supervisory or managerial roles, preferably within a manufacturing environment.Your hands-on experience in financial management and familiarity with stock exchange operator reporting requirements set you apart. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin. Your excellent communication skills allow you to interact confidently with high-level management or board directors.
