We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Chain Executive to manage end-to-end supply chain operations—covering procurement, inventory control, logistics, customs compliance, and supplier relations—to support both manufacturing and trading activities.Knowing Mandarin is a must as IT requires to be liasing with China suppliers
What you'll be doing- Procurement & Supplier Management
- Research, evaluate, and select suppliers to ensure product quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors, manage the Approved Vendor List, and review supplier invoices.
- Explore cost-saving strategies and build long-term relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Inventory & Demand Planning
- Monitor stock levels, forecast demand, and determine optimal reorder points to avoid stock-outs or overstocking.
- Collaborate closely with production, sales, and marketing teams to align supply with demand and seasonal trends.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and improve inventory accuracy through regular reviews and audits.
- Logistics, Shipping & Customs
- Coordinate with shipping agents and freight forwarders to manage local and international shipments.
- Prepare and review all import/export documentation (e.g., invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, HS codes).
- Ensure smooth customs clearance while minimizing risks, delays, and penalties such as detention or demurrage.
- Warehouse & Distribution Coordination
- Oversee warehouse operations and inventory allocation to ensure optimal storage and timely order dispatch.
- Collaborate with 3PL partners or in-house logistics teams to maintain high OTIF (On-Time In-Full) delivery rates.
- Ensure goods are stored and handled in accordance with product specifications and safety standards.
- Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain up-to-date records of shipping documents, BOI certifications, and customs-related paperwork.
- Ensure full compliance with internal policies, Incoterms, ISO standards, and relevant trade regulations.
- Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Track and report key KPIs, including inventory accuracy, cost per order, delivery lead time, and supplier performance.
- Analyse supply chain data to identify areas for cost reduction, lead time improvement, and process efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain, procurement, and logistics functions.
- New Product Development & Merchandising Sourcing
- Collaborate with the Product and R&D teams to source materials, packaging, and components for new product launches.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, eco-friendly materials, and innovative product formats.
- Evaluate and onboard new suppliers for merchandise and limited-run collaborations aligned with brand direction.
- Manage sampling, prototyping, and cost benchmarking to ensure feasibility before scale-up.
- Industry Awareness
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory updates, and supply chain innovations.
- Recommend new tools, platforms, or practices that can enhance the company’s operational capabilities.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a supply chain or procurement role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills to effectively liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Proficient in the use of supply chain management software and data analysis tools
- A degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management or a related field
- Familiarity with industry regulations and best practices in supply chain management

- Prepare and process purchase orders, track shipments, and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to procurement activities, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including production, sales, and finance teams, to understand their needs and ensure procurement activities align with business objectives.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new suppliers, emerging trends, and potential cost-saving opportunities, staying informed about industry best practices and innovations.
