Quality Engineer

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Quality Engineer, Quality Control Specialist, or in a similar role within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese, with the ability to liaise effectively with Chinese counterparts. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia is also preferred.
• Familiarity with quality testing tools, measurement instruments, and statistical analysis software. Understanding of product development and manufacturing processes is an advantage.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement.
• High attention to detail and the ability to perform under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

About the role:

This role involves close collaboration with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to uphold quality excellence across all stages of manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

• Quality System Development: Develop and implement quality assurance processes, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with internal specifications, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements.
• Inspection & Compliance Monitoring: Conduct regular inspections, audits, and product tests to verify conformance to quality standards. Support both internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with ISO and other industry-specific certifications.
• Defect Analysis & Corrective Actions: Identify and investigate quality issues or product defects, recommend corrective and preventive actions, and collaborate with production teams to implement lasting improvements.
• Data Monitoring & Continuous Improvement: Analyze production data to detect trends, inefficiencies, or deviations. Drive quality-related continuous improvement initiatives and support preventive strategies to minimize recurring issues.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to improve product quality, resolve technical issues, and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Training & Documentation: Prepare detailed quality reports, maintain audit and inspection records, and deliver training sessions to promote quality standards, tools, and best practices across the organization.
