IoT Project Engineer - Ampang Jaya

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the end-to-end execution of IoT projects, including deployment, commissioning, and testing of smart poles and other IoT devices.
2. Manage project coordination with internal teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
3. Oversee vendor management by monitoring performance and ensuring compliance with project requirements.
4. Prepare and maintain key project documentation, such as project plans, deployment checklists, and SOPs.
5. Conduct on-site User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure prompt resolution of issues.
6. Provide training to clients on the delivered IoT solutions and ensure a smooth handover process.
7. Act as the primary liaison for client engagement, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
8. Handle ad-hoc client requirements or change requests and coordinate with the technical team for necessary updates.
9. Ensure timely reporting of project progress, risks, and issues, while continuously improving project workflows.
10. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotic & Mechatronics or a related field is required.
11. Familiarity with IoT solutions, including basic knowledge of hardware, networking, and system integration.
12. 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred; fresh graduates with strong interest in IoT are encouraged to apply.
13. Proven experience in project management, coordination, and vendor management for complex deployments.
14. Ability to prepare and manage project documentation, including SOPs, technical manuals, and reports.
15. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage clients and stakeholders effectively.
16. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in troubleshooting technical issues during deployment.
17. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work under tight deadlines.
18. Quick learner with a keen interest in exploring and mastering new IoT technologies.
19. Familiarity with software development and hardware specifications, even without hands-on experience, is an advantage.
