What you'll do:
As a Risk Analyst within this esteemed Corporate Risk Office, you will play an integral role in supporting the identification, assessment, monitoring, and mitigation of risks across both routine operations and change initiatives. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve close collaboration with line managers as well as business, legal, compliance, and other control teams.You will be instrumental in developing action plans for managing organisational risks while ensuring alignment with enterprise policies. By preparing insightful reports for leadership and contributing to training efforts that promote a strong risk culture, you will help embed best practices throughout the company.
Your ability to analyse data effectively will enable you to spot trends early on and recommend improvements that enhance overall resilience. Success in this position requires not only technical proficiency but also excellent interpersonal skills—enabling you to build trust-based relationships across departments while championing responsible risk-taking.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate enterprise-wide risks by collaborating with stakeholders across business units to ensure comprehensive coverage of all potential exposures.
- Assist in the ongoing development, implementation, and maintenance of the organisation’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework to align with best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant risk management standards by monitoring adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
- Continuously improve the ERM framework based on insights from internal audits, external assessments, and evolving industry standards.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of risk management processes by coordinating activities across departments and ensuring consistency in approach.
- Conduct detailed risk assessments such as Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA), leveraging data analysis techniques to identify trends and emerging issues.
- Contribute to the development and upkeep of the risk register by gathering information from various sources and maintaining accurate records.
- Prepare comprehensive risk-related documentation including reports and presentations for senior leadership to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Assist with the design and delivery of risk management training programmes aimed at fostering a robust risk-aware culture throughout the organisation.
- Proactively identify potential risks through regular monitoring activities and escalate concerns promptly to ensure timely resolution.

Your background should include familiarity with regulatory frameworks governing OTC markets as well as practical experience conducting structured assessments like RCSA.Beyond technical acumen, your success will depend on your capacity for clear communication—both written and verbal—as you translate complex findings into accessible insights for diverse audiences. A keen eye for detail combined with advanced analytical capabilities ensures you can interpret data accurately while identifying subtle patterns or emerging threats.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required along with at least 2-3 years’ direct experience in risk management within the financial or trade and services industry.
- Demonstrated knowledge of financial products, services, and regulatory environments relevant to global OTC markets.
- Proven experience conducting risk assessments such as RCSA (Risk and Control Self-Assessments) with an ability to interpret findings into actionable recommendations.
- Familiarity with Key Process Indicators (KPI) and Key Risk Indicators (KRI), enabling effective measurement of operational performance against risk appetite.
- Sound understanding of industry compliance standards coupled with practical experience applying these frameworks within complex organisations.
- Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office suite; experience using data visualisation software such as Power BI is highly desirable.
- Exceptional analytical skills marked by high attention to detail and accuracy when handling sensitive information or large datasets.
- Excellent verbal, written, inter-personal, and presentation skills are essential for communicating complex concepts clearly across all levels of the organisation.
- Ability to grasp broader business issues beyond immediate tasks—demonstrating empathy for stakeholder perspectives while balancing competing priorities.
