Possess a Diploma in Hairdressing or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Demonstrate proficiency in basic hair styling techniques, including shampooing, conditioning, and blow-drying.
- Exhibit excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with clients.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin to cater to a diverse clientele.
- Willingness to learn and assist senior stylists in performing advanced hair treatments and styling services.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to salon hygiene standards and safety protocols.
- Assist in salon operations, including inventory management, appointment scheduling, and client record maintenance.
- Assist senior stylists with hair treatments, coloring, and styling, ensuring client comfort and satisfaction.
- Prepare and maintain workstations, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are met at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients, offering refreshments, and assisting with their needs throughout their salon visit.
- Perform shampooing, conditioning, and scalp massages as directed by senior stylists, adhering to established techniques and protocols.
- Maintain inventory of salon supplies and equipment, notifying management when stock levels are low.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance hair styling skills and knowledge of new trends and techniques.
- Support salon operations by answering phones, scheduling appointments, and processing payments as needed.
