Education
Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Manufacturing Engineering / Industrial Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Business Administration / Finance (with manufacturing experience)
Master’s Degree or MBA is an added advantage.
Experience- Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in:
- Automotive or manufacturing industry (preferred)
- Cost management, project management, or operations management
- Proven experience in cost control, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Hands-on experience managing cross-functional projects.
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of:
- Manufacturing processes and automotive production environment
- Costing methods (standard costing, activity-based costing, BOM analysis)
Proficiency in:
- ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Microsoft Excel (advanced level)
- Project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, or equivalent)
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strategic thinking with strong attention to detail.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt
- Professional certifications in cost accounting (e.g., CIMA, ACCA – optional advantage)

Job Purpose
The Cost Management Manager / Project Management Manager is responsible for overseeing cost control, project execution, and operational efficiency across manufacturing activities. The role ensures cost-effective production, timely project delivery, and alignment with overall business objectives within the automotive parts manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Cost Management & Control
Develop and implement cost control strategies to optimize manufacturing expenses.
Monitor production costs, material usage, labor efficiency, and overhead allocations.
Perform cost analysis and variance reporting against budgets and forecasts.
Lead initiatives for cost reduction, waste elimination, and process improvement.
Collaborate with procurement and engineering teams to optimize sourcing and design for cost efficiency.- Project Management
Plan, execute, and monitor manufacturing-related projects (e.g., new product introduction, process improvements, capacity expansion).
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Manage project timelines, milestones, risks, and resources using appropriate tools.
Coordinate cross-functional teams including production, quality, engineering, and supply chain.
Report project status, risks, and outcomes to senior management.- Operational Excellence
Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
Enhance production efficiency, productivity, and resource utilization.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance with automotive industry requirements.
Support implementation of automation and digitalization initiatives where applicable.- Budgeting & Financial Planning
Prepare annual operational budgets and forecasts.
Track financial performance and recommend corrective actions.
Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.- Stakeholder & Team Management
Lead and mentor a team of engineers, analysts, or project coordinators.
Work closely with senior management to align operational strategies with business goals.
