- Purchase Order Management
- Prepare, issue, and track purchase orders for IT products and accessories.
- Supplier Coordination
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery, negotiate pricing, and resolve issues.
- Inventory Monitoring
- Track stock levels and reorder supplies as needed to avoid shortages.
- Product Sourcing
- Source IT hardware and software from reliable vendors according to sales trends.
- Price Comparison & Cost Saving
- Evaluate quotations and ensure cost-effectiveness of purchases.
- Document Management
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, delivery orders, and invoices.
- Interdepartmental Support
- Work closely with sales, warehouse, and finance teams to fulfill purchasing needs.
- System Updates
- Update product and purchase data in inventory and procurement systems.
- Compliance & SOP Adherence
- Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and procurement SOPs.
- Support Procurement Projects
- Assist in bulk purchase planning, launching new products, and vendor evaluations.
Requirements:
Purchasing Admin – Job Requirements (IT Retail)
✅ Education & Qualifications- Minimum SPM/STPM/Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Degree holders are preferred for growth potential.
- At least 1 year of working experience in administrative or purchasing roles.
- Experience in IT retail or product knowledge (e.g. laptops, gadgets, accessories) is an added advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and email communication.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (spoken & written).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Responsible, reliable, and able to meet deadlines.
- Fast learner with a proactive attitude.
- Good communication and coordination skills with internal teams and suppliers.
- Familiar with purchasing processes and documentation (POs, invoices, delivery orders).
- Ability to liaise with suppliers for pricing, product availability, and negotiation.
- Able to handle stock ordering and basic inventory tracking.
