Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline
- Registration with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and valid CIDB Green card preferred.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in project management within the construction or infrastructure industry. Proven experience in high-rise or large scale building projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project, Primavera P6 or similar project management tools.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit or BIM systems is an advantage
- Familiar with Malaysian construction standards, building codes and local authority processes (JKR, CIDB, DOSH, BOMBA, PBT)
- Understanding of contractual frameworks such as PAM, FIDIC and JKR Standard Forms.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities. Strong communication, coordination and negotiations skills. High attention to detail with analytical and problem solving mindset
- Responsible proactive and results oriented attitude
- Plan, coordinate and supervise all construction activities at project sites.
- Develop project implementation schedules or detailed project plans and cost estimates
- Lead project team to keep the project on schedule on budget and within the specifications. Ensure daily operational task of the project perform on time and effectively with a team member
- Monitor project progress against timelines and budgets implement corrective actions when required. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to specifications.
- Evaluate the technical drawings, construction methods and work programs in due to proceed the works.
- Manage resources including manpower, materials and equipment.
- Liaise with clients, consultant, sub-contractors and relevant authorities to ensure smooth project execution. Build and maintain strong relationships and clients, consultants and subcontractors.
- Identify potential risks and implement effective mitigation strategies. Provide proactive solutions to avoid delays or cot overruns. Lead in site problem solve issues and suggest ways to improve the project.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards and company policies.
- Manage and prepare project documentation including contracts, progress reports, Method Statements, variation orders and claims. Monitor Inspection Test Plan development, QAQC documentation work and site inspection.
- Lead project meetings with sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure alignment of objectives.
- Review and verify as-build documentation, handover reports and project close-out deliverables.
- Oversee procurement activities and monitor material deliveries to ensure timely availability on site.
- Lead, mentor and motivate project teams to achieve milestones and performance standards.
