Academic Qualifications:

  • Minimum SPM/Diploma in Multimedia, Graphic Design, Communications, or related fields.
  • Qualifications in video editing or social media are highly encouraged.

Experience:

  • At least 6 months to 1 year of experience in content editing and social media management.
  • Fresh graduates with strong skills and passion for editing are welcome to apply.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in editing software such as CapCut, InShot, VN, Canva and/or Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Able to compile short videos, reels, TikTok, and IG Stories that are engaging.
  • Familiar with basic graphic design for visual posts.
  • Able to schedule and upload content consistently on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.

Content Skills:

  • Knows how to choose strong “hooks” and interesting clips to make videos go viral or engaging.
  • Able to write short, concise, and audience-appropriate captions.
  • Understands basic format requirements for each platform (ratios, durations, formats, hashtags, etc.).

Attitude & Work Ethics:

  • Detail-oriented, neat, and quick to take action.
  • Willing to follow deadlines and scheduled postings.
  • Able to work in a team and accept instructions well.

Others (Bonus):

  • Has a strong interest in current social media trends (TikTok, IG Reels, memes, viral audios, etc.).
  • Experience managing content for local brands or small businesses is an added advantage.
  • A portfolio of short videos or IG Reels/TikToks previously edited is highly encouraged for review.
  1. Content Planning

Develop creative ideas for various types of content, such as social media posts, videos, blog articles, etc.

Organize a content calendar to ensure structured planning on a weekly or monthly basis.
  1. Content Creation
Edit images, videos, or audio to produce high-quality, engaging, and professional content.
  1. Social Media Management

Schedule and upload content to digital platforms.

Align visual style, language, and tone of communication to be consistent with the brand identity (brand consistency).
  1. Audience Interaction
Respond to comments, direct messages (DMs), and interact with followers to build and maintain an active and loyal community.
  1. Content Performance Analysis

Analyze content performance data such as views, likes, shares, and engagement rate.

Prepare reports and provide improvement recommendations based on the analysis.
  1. Monitoring Current Trends

Stay updated on the latest trends on platforms like TikTok and Instagram, including memes and current issues.

Adapt content to remain relevant, engaging, and attention-grabbing.
  1. Collaboration and Teamwork

Work closely with the marketing team, photographers, videographers, and graphic designers.

Participate in collaborations with influencers or external parties as required for the project.
