Site Supervisor (Retail & Commercial)

High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Construction Management or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in site supervision or a similar role.
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role in the construction retail & commercial industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and building codes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Relevant certifications in construction management, health and safety, or related fields (e.g., CIDB) preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
- Supervise daily operations on-site, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget.
- Allocate tasks to workers and subcontractors based on project requirements and skill levels.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations and protocols.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality, progress, and safety compliance.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain accurate records of materials, equipment, and labor usage.
- Report any delays, issues, or concerns to senior management promptly.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of materials and equipment on-site.
- Assist with the coordination of deliveries and the scheduling of inspections and permits.
- Ensure the site is left clean and ready for handover upon project completion.
