Sales Application Engineer

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or relevant field) or Business with technical background.
• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in technical support, application engineering, or sales support
• Fresh graduates with strong communication and technical skills are encouraged to apply.

Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Technical aptitude with the ability to understand and explain product specifications.
• Proficient in MS Office
• Problem-solving mindset and customer-centric approach.

Preferred:

• Experience in industrial equipment, instrumentation, automation, or technical product sales.
• Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings and datasheets.

Working Conditions:

• Office-based with occasional customer visits or field support.
• May require travel depending on customer/project requirements.

Technical/Application Support:

• Understand customer requirements and provide appropriate technical/product solutions.
• Assist in product selection, sizing, and application recommendations.
• Preparing product design, costing, technical presentation & proposal.
• Coordinate with the engineering teams for custom product requirements or modifications.

Sales Management:

• Prepare and follow up on quotations and tender documents.
• Maintain customer records, sales data, and technical documents in CRM or internal systems.
• Assist in order processing, tracking, and after-sales service coordination.
• Support sales team in achieving targets and preparing sales reports.

Customer Communication:

• Act as a liaison between the customer and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate communication.
• Respond to customer queries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
• Conduct product training or demos when required.
