Online Operations Manager (E-Commerce) New

Monroe Consulting Group, an Executive Recruitment firm, is partnering with an organisation in the Information Technology industry to hire an Online Operations Manager. This opportunity is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Position Overview
The role is responsible for driving online commerce growth across marketplaces and digital channels while managing day-to-day platform performance.It plays a key role in scaling operations through data-driven strategies, AI tools, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key ResponsibilitiesCommercial Growth & Performance
- Own monthly revenue, traffic, conversion and profitability targets across online channels
- Plan and execute platform campaigns (9.9, 10.10, 11.11 etc.)
- Improve AOV, repeat purchase and category growth
- Ensure accurate listings, pricing, promotions and stock availability
- Manage platform health metrics, seller performance and customer ratings
- Optimize store merchandising and product discoverability
- Build daily / weekly dashboards for sales and channel performance
- Analyse traffic sources, SKU movement, campaign ROI and competitor actions
- Provide insights and action plans to management
- Introduce AI tools to improve operations productivity
- Automate reporting workflows and repetitive tasks
- Implement AI chat support / content generation / forecasting where relevant
- Work closely with supply chain, customer service, finance, marketing and product teams
- Ensure smooth execution of campaigns and fulfilment readiness
- Qualifications & Experience 5+ years experience in e-Commerce / Marketplace Operations
- Strong commercial mindset with proven sales growth track record
- Technical / Functional Expertise Data-driven and comfortable with Excel / BI dashboards
