What you'll do:

As a Sales Executive, your role will be pivotal in supporting the growth of our client's business within the electronic components industry. You will be entrusted with identifying new business opportunities with OEMs and EMSs across Malaysia and the region.

Your excellent interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with key accounts while your keen eye for detail will ensure accurate record-keeping of sales activities. Your ability to provide valuable market insights will contribute significantly to shaping product and sourcing strategies.

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with OEM and EMS customers in Malaysia and the region.
  • Support senior sales executives in managing and growing major accounts.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with potential leads, generate quotations, and coordinate with internal teams for timely order fulfillment.
  • Provide market insights and customer feedback to help shape product and sourcing strategies.
  • Assist in shortage sourcing and pricing strategies to meet customer demands.
  • Work closely with procurement and logistics teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline updates in CRM systems.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings as needed.

Your proven track record working with OEMs and EMSs demonstrates your ability to understand customer needs and develop effective business strategies. Your strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with your proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and CRM systems, will enable you to excel in this role.

  • 3–5 years of experience in sales or business development within the electronic components industry.
  • Familiarity with active and passive components, and brands such as Microchip, Texas Instruments, Infineon, and STMicroelectronics.
  • Experience working with OEMs and EMSs is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and CRM systems.
  • Self-driven, organized, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
  • Fluent in English; Mandarin or Bahasa Malaysia is a plus.
