A well‑known Japanese manufacturer of vision inspection systems used in factory automation is seeking a Sales Engineer to support the growth of our vision inspection solutions business. This role involves close collaboration with customers, partners, and our Tokyo headquarters.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all sales-related activities for vision inspection systems.
- Visit factories and machine manufacturers to propose and present our in‑house vision inspection solutions.
- Respond to customer inquiries, including delivery schedule coordination and quotation preparation.
- Work closely with team members in our Tokyo headquarters, communicating in either Japanese or English.
- Travel within Malaysia, with occasional trips to Singapore and Indonesia.
- Depending on individual aptitude and career goals, a rotation to a Technical Engineer role may be offered.
- Bachelor’s degree in any field
- Ability to conduct daily business conversations in English and Malay.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
- Experience in sales of factory automation–related equipment.
