What we're looking for
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Proactive and adaptable to changes in the work environment

What you'll be doing
Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger (Paramount Steel Sdn Bhd)
Conduct regular reconciliation of bank statements and other financial accounts
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Provide support in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings
Collaborate with the finance team to identify and implement process improvements
Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
Undertake ad-hoc tasks as required by the finance and accounting department
