Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields
- Professional certifications (ACCA, CPA, CIMA) are an added advantage
- 2 – 4 years of accounting experience or finance roles preferred
- Fluent in Mandarin and/or English, as the role requires regular communication with Mandarin-speaking customer.
- Positive attitude, passionate on collaborative teamwork, excel at interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Adaptable to change, able to pivot and find alternate solutions, demonstrated capability in meeting new challenges.
- Good problem-solving skills, able to navigate unexpected situations or conditions.
- Critical observer-thinker, bringing fresh perspective and offer intuitive solutions and ideas.
- Willing to learn applicable system automation, business solution software.
- Handle full set of accounts for the company, assist in preparing monthly financial statements, management reports, and bank reconciliations.
- Record and maintain daily accounting transactions including invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost monitoring activities.
- Ensure all accounting records comply with company policies and statutory requirements.
- Prepare documentation for auditors and assist in audit queries.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable functions, including supplier and customer reconciliations.
- Assist in preparing and submitting tax-related documents (e.g. SST/GST, corporate tax) under supervision.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis, reporting, or administrative tasks as assigned.
- Assist and guide junior staff, support superior and collaborate with Operations teams to resolve any discrepancies.
