This role requires an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and develop our engineering team, manage projects, and contribute to strategic initiatives.

• Team Leadership & Development: Provide guidance and training, assist subordinates in achieving career goals, motivate individuals to achieve results, and recruit and maintain a high-quality staff.
• Budget & Resource Management: Assist in or develop departmental budgets and monitor spending. Determine appropriate staff levels, schedules, and resources, working with other managers to understand priorities and allocate resources accordingly.
• Project Management: Prioritize and manage the execution of multiple department projects, monitoring and evaluating project and department progress and results.
• Operational & Technical Excellence: Manage Operations functional deliverables and ensure technical excellence for product development. Ensure engineering support of production initiatives.
• Collaboration & Problem Solving: Maintain and enhance cross-functional team relationships. Work cross-functionally to identify and resolve production/engineering issues.
• Continuous Improvement: Support and/or lead Operations Value Improvement Process (VIP) or Strategic Activity Review (STAR) sponsored projects. Develop departmental metrics and objectives and monitor progress.

• Education: Minimum a Degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Chemical Engineering, or Science
• Experience: At least 15 years of experience in an engineering leadership role. Medical Device experience, is an added advantage.
• Leadership & Communication: A persuasive and powerful communicator, capable of motivating a business unit/department and acting as a role model. Must be able to foster a culture of diversity and collaboration.
