Sales Executive
Job Summary:
The Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales of our forklift products and services within a defined territory. This role involves identifying and qualifying leads, building relationships with potential customers, understanding their needs, presenting solutions, negotiating contracts, and achieving sales targets.The Sales Executive will also manage existing customer accounts to ensure satisfaction and generate repeat business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling,
- networking, and other lead generation strategies.
- Manage a portfolio of existing customer accounts, nurturing relationships and identifying upselling/cross-selling opportunities.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate forklift solutions.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations.
- Develop and deliver competitive proposals and quotations.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate sales records and reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., service, operations) to ensure seamless customer experience.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and product knowledge.
- Attend industry events and trade shows to network and generate leads.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or
a related field preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered.
Experience: Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the material
handling industry or a related B2B environment. Experience selling capital equipment
is a plus.
