Role Overview:

We’re looking for a Sales Development Representative to drive our business growth and manage client accounts. You’ll be the go-to advisor for companies looking to outsource to Malaysia, overseeing the full sales cycle and ensuring smooth delivery of services with internal teams.

This is a hybrid role, primarily based in Kuala Lumpur, with flexibility for remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Outbound Prospecting:
  • Research and identify potential clients in target industries (e.g., tech, finance, manufacturing).
  • Cold‑call, email, and leverage social media (LinkedIn, etc.) to generate qualified leads.
  • Lead Qualification:
  • Engage prospects to understand hiring needs, timelines, and budgets.
  • Maintain accurate records in our CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Appointment Setting:
  • Schedule discovery calls and demos for Account Executives.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure smooth hand‑off.
  • Pipeline Management:
  • Track outreach activity and lead progression through the sales funnel.
  • Meet or exceed monthly quotas for calls, emails, and qualified meetings.
  • Market Intelligence:
  • Gather competitive and market insights to refine messaging.
  • Provide feedback to marketing on lead-generation campaigns.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Communications, or related field
  • 1–2 years’ experience in B2B lead generation, inside sales, or sales development (outsourcing/recruitment a plus)
  • Proven track record of qualifying leads and meeting activity targets (calls, emails, social outreach)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with CRM tools like Apollo, HubSpot or Salesforce is a plus
  • Self‑motivated, goal‑driven, and comfortable with high‑volume outreach and handling objections
