The role requires a strong maintenance expert in ensuring the efficient functioning of plant equipment and processes, minimize downtime, and drive continuous improvement in our maintenance practices.

• Ensure all preventive maintenance schedules are carried out as expected.
• Ensure all breakdowns are attended to promptly, and investigations are conducted to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Manage the factory workshop to maximize machine and manpower utilization.
• Maintain and control spare parts inventory at optimal levels, and revise inventory periodically.
• Maintain and control all tools and die drawing modifications.
• Implement modifications and changes to existing machines and processes to improve quality and productivity.
• Conduct trial runs with the Production and Quality Assurance departments for new products, raw materials, and machines, and assist in achieving commercial production.
• Provide technical support in addressing product-related and quality issues from suppliers to manufacturing, to meet quality standards and cost improvement targets.
• Perform other related job functions as required by management.

• At least a Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent with above 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Good interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage (involves liaising with stakeholders from China).
