Job Description

POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

Should have very good telecom domain knowledge. He should be technically strong both in Development and Server Administration.

• Should have the experience in Managing and delivering BI/Analytics Projects using Tableau and Hive/HBASE Database.
• The position holder will be the primary contact point for the Tableau application and able to connect Tableau with different business users
• Should have good knowledge of Tableau Desktop & Server in Linux/Windows environment including installation and maintenance.
• Must have experience on Data Visualization Analytics
• Must guide the team in technical issues and technology best practices in BI and Tableau
• Should be able to provide the solutions for the issues.
• Should have well conceptual knowledge and experience in Data Warehousing, Data Modeling, and Schema Designing relating to BI.
• Should have experience on using large data sets.
• Must have experience in merging the data coming from different sources by joins and data blending.
• Must know about different type of Filters, Parameters, Groups and Sets
• Must know about Hierarchies, Drill Down, Drill up and Bins.
• Should have knowledge on Calculations, Table Calculations, LOD Calculations.
• Should have experience in creating Scatter Plot, Gantt, Histogram and Highlight Table Maps.
• Must have sound knowledge on user creation, user roles, permissions and security in Tableau server.
• Should have experience in monitoring of scheduled reports and dashboards.
• Should have the experience in using multiple data bases like Oracle, Teradata, IBM Netteza, Hadoop, Hive

• Synchronizing liaison work to meet implementation datelines of various initiatives.
• Strong technical skills and quick understanding of the business requirements.
• Should have hands on experience
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate findings in easy to understand terms for the business and team members
• Caliber to provide the solutions in a quick turnaround time

• Able to work independently, good communication skills and Able to liaise across different levels of management, dedicated, and have endurance.
• Strong technical skills and quick understanding of the business requirements.
• Should have hands on experience
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate findings in easy to understand terms for the business and team members
• Caliber to provide the solutions in a quick turnaround time
• Should be well versed with the new trends
• Should Able to implement the new technologies

Education

• Degree preferably with specialization in Data Science/ Data Management, Computer Science, Statistics.
• Certification in Tableau is an added advantage
• Advanced knowledge in BI Tools mainly in Tableau and should have good experience in creating the solutions
• Solid knowledge of and experience with Agile software development or Sprint Design

Relevant Industries

• Degree with CGPA > 3.0 and minimum 3 years relevant experience.
