Art Director / Art & Design Associate

Role Overview

This will require straddling between agency and production work for both new and existing accounts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the visual direction for campaigns and other adhoc assets. This may include building assets and styleframes that are used in motion graphics and edits and creating visual direction based on strategy or existing brand guidelines.
• Effectively collaborate with a wider creative team for development and implementation of visual direction.
• Ensure consistency in brand identity, design standards, and quality of output
• Review and refine design work from designers and junior team members
• Provide constructive feedback to elevate creative output
• Stay updated on design trends, emerging tools, and developments in entertainment and social media.

• Accountability for assigned projects and team members
• Contribute actively to brainstorming sessions and pitches
• Align creative output with campaign goals and client expectations
• Clear and consistent communication with team members
• Articulate and justify creative decisions effectively
• Incorporate feedback while maintaining creative integrity
• Ability to present and articulate creative decisions to clients and internal stakeholders

Experience / Knowledge in the following is a plus:

• Experience in motion graphics or video production
• Prior experience managing or mentoring a creative team

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field
• 3–7 years of experience in a creative/advertising agency environment
• Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and design excellence
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
• Experience in digital, social, and integrated campaigns
• Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
