Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE)

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Electronics, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality / Supplier Quality / Manufacturing Engineering.
- Experience in PCB / electronics manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and common failure modes is an advantage.
- Familiar with quality tools such as 8D, basic RCA, FMEA (preferred).
- Understanding of quality systems such as ISO 9001 (IATF 16949 knowledge is a plus).
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently with guidance.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willing to travel to supplier sites when required.
- Good command of English and Mandarin (to support Mandarin-speaking stakeholders).
- Support supplier quality activities to ensure incoming materials meet company and customer requirements.
- Assist in maintaining supplier quality systems for PCB, CCL, laminate, chemicals, and electronic components.
- Participate in supplier audits, assessments, and qualification activities (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA 6.3).
- Handle supplier quality issues, including basic defect analysis and follow-up on corrective and preventive actions (8D, RCA).
- Monitor supplier performance KPIs such as PPM, on-time delivery, and quality trends.
- Support supplier change management processes, including ECN and material/process changes.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (Purchasing, R&D, Manufacturing, Quality) on supplier-related issues.
- Participate in new supplier qualification and development activities.
- Prepare and maintain supplier quality records, reports, and documentation.
