Maintenance & electrical technician

Minimum Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- At least 2–4 years of experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including motors, control panels, sensors, and automated machinery.
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting electrical faults and repairing production equipment such as mixers, conveyors, and packaging machines.
- Familiar with preventive maintenance practices and equipment servicing schedules.
- Basic knowledge of PLC systems, automation, and control systems is an added advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Understanding of electrical safety standards and compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of food safety standards such as HACCP and GMP is an added advantage.
- Able to respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and work under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.
- Good problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Willing to work shifts, overtime, or on-call when required.
- Physically fit and able to work in a plant/production environment.
- Basic computer skills for maintenance reporting and documentation.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems on production equipment (mixers, conveyors, packaging machines)
- Troubleshoot and fix faults in control systems, motors, sensors and etc.
- Perform preventive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime
- Support production teams by responding quickly to breakdowns
- Assist in upgrading or modifying automated production systems
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
- Ensure all work complies with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP) and electrical safety regulations
