Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance work
- Previous experience in maintenance, handyman, or similar role.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks (lifting, climbing, etc.)
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Basic communication skills (English/Malay)
- Responsible, punctual, and reliable
- Perform routine maintenance and repair works in guest rooms and hotel facilities
- Fix electrical issues such as lighting, switches, and minor wiring problems
- Handle plumbing repairs including leaks, clogged drains, and pipe issues
- Repair furniture, doors, locks, and fixtures
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff
- Ensure all work is completed safely and meets hotel standards
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition
- Assist in setting up for events or moving equipment when needed
- Report major repair issues to the maintenance supervisor
