• Assist the Lorry Driver in the safe and efficient delivery of goods to designated locations
• Perform loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper handling and minimizing the risk of damage.
• Provide route assistance to the driver, utilizing navigation tools and local knowledge to optimize delivery routes and avoid delays.
• Coordinate with the driver and delivery recipients to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations while operating the lorry and handling goods, prioritizing personal safety and the safety of others.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lorry, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
• Assist with basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as checking fluid levels and tire pressure, and reporting any issues to the driver or supervisor.
• Assist the lorry driver in the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
• Perform loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper handling and securing of items to prevent damage during transit.
• Provide route assistance to the driver, utilizing maps, GPS devices, and local knowledge to navigate delivery routes effectively.
• Coordinate with the driver and warehouse personnel to ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods to designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the lorry, reporting any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the driver or supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lorry's interior and exterior, ensuring a professional appearance at all times.
• Assist in completing delivery documentation, including delivery notes and invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to prevent accidents and injuries.
