- Proficiency in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, and English is mandatory to effectively communicate with a diverse customer base.
- Demonstrated ability to apply sales techniques and strategies to achieve targets.
- Strong negotiation skills to effectively close deals and build lasting client relationships.
- Willingness to work onsite in Kuala Lumpur and engage directly with customers and team members.
- Ability to understand and articulate the value proposition of agriculture, poultry, and fisheries products.
- Eagerness to learn about the industry and stay updated on market trends and competitor activities.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the agriculture, poultry, and fisheries sectors in the Kuala Lumpur region.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and identify potential sales channels and strategies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients through regular communication and visits.
- Present and demonstrate company products and services to prospective clients, highlighting their benefits and addressing any concerns.
- Prepare and submit sales proposals, quotations, and contracts to clients, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Negotiate sales terms and conditions with clients to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
- Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets as set by the sales manager.
- Provide timely and accurate sales reports, including sales forecasts, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and generate new leads.
