Technical officer [chemical] - Seberang Perai

We are currently looking for a Technical Officer for a leading player in the Chemical Manufacturing Industry with a legacy of more than 30 years in the world. This position requires your urgent attention.

• Ensure all technical activities comply with applicable regulatory and legal standards.
• Lead the deployment and integration of the Global Chemical Information Management System (GCIP).
• Regularly update and manage databases related to raw material regulations and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• Contribute to product evaluations and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements during annual reviews.
• Oversee administrative functions, documentation control, and coordination of technical research projects.
• Interface with external service providers and maintain comprehensive records of laboratory equipment calibration and maintenance.
• Foster cross-departmental collaboration among laboratories, workshops, and related teams to support technical operations.

• Holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Applied Chemistry, or a related field.
• Proficient in Japanese (spoken and written); fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong command of English and Malay, with excellent communication abilities.
• Competent in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to multitask effectively while collaborating in a team environment.
