Mechanic, Electronic Technician and Painter
Experience
1–3 years of experience in mechanical repair (preferably forklifts, heavy equipment, or similar machinery)
Experience with electric, diesel, and LPG forklifts is often preferred
Experience in warehouse or logistics environments is a plus- Technical Skills
Strong understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems
Proficient with diagnostic tools and repair equipment
Ability to read service manuals, schematics, and technical drawings
Welding and fabrication skills (optional but beneficial)- Certifications (bonus)
Forklift Mechanic Certification
ASE Certification (Automotive Service Excellence) — optional, but a plus
Valid driver’s license & GDL License (required for mobile mechanics)- Soft Skills
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Good communication skills to interact with operators and supervisors
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to safety and detail- Physical Requirements
Ability to lift heavy parts and equipment
Comfortable working in varied environments (hot/cold warehouses, outdoors)
Capable of bending, standing, and working in awkward positions for long periods- Inspection and Diagnostics
- Maintenance
Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements, and lubrication.
Check and maintain fluid levels (e.g., hydraulic fluid, coolant).- Repairs
- Record Keeping
Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and time spent on each repair.
Report any recurring issues or needed upgrades to supervisors.- Compliance and Safety
- Customer Service
Communicate effectively with equipment operators, warehouse supervisors, or clients regarding forklift issues and required repairs.
Provide estimates for time and cost of repairs when applicable.- Mobile/On-Site Repairs (if applicable)
Travel to client sites to perform emergency or scheduled forklift repairs.
Maintain a mobile workshop with the necessary tools and parts.- Tool and Equipment Management
Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition.
