Maintain a clean and organized work station, following hygiene and safety protocols.
Ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately and efficiently.
Assist in daily food preparation tasks, including washing, chopping, and measuring ingredients according to standard recipes.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area, ensuring all surfaces, equipment, and utensils are properly sanitized.
Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, and mixers safely and efficiently, following established procedures.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food production, especially during peak hours.
Receive and store food supplies properly, rotating stock to maintain freshness and minimize waste.
Follow instructions from senior chefs and kitchen managers to prepare dishes according to Nanyang Cafe's standards.
Communicate effectively with team members, especially Mandarin-speaking colleagues, to ensure smooth workflow and understanding of tasks.
