Purchasing Officer

Diploma / Degree in Business Administration / supply chain or recognized equivalent

• Minimum 2–3 years relevant experience in procurement
• Familiar with SQL system
• Able to work independently

We are relocating to Rawang in 4 Months.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the full purchasing cycle including sourcing, negotiation, and order processing
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotations, compare pricing, and ensure cost-effective purchasing
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely procurement
• Prepare and process purchase orders, and ensure proper documentation and record keeping
• Handle supplier performance evaluation and maintain good vendor relationships
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics team on delivery schedules and order fulfilment
• To carry out ad-hoc duties assigned by Superior / Management

Import & Compliance Responsibilities:

• Manage import processes including shipment coordination, documentation, and customs clearance
• Ensure all import documents (e.g. invoice, packing list, bill of lading, permit) are complete and compliant with regulations
• Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping agents, and customs authorities
• Monitor shipment status and resolve any delays or issues related to import
• Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and company policies
