Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree, in Law (L.L.B), and CLP / Bar qualification(s);
• Passed CLP and ready to go for the next step
• Interested and meticulous in documentation work
• Able to work independently under minimum supervision
• Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin. Comprehension of Mandarin language is important due to communication with China clients.

Job Scope of Work:

 A.  Corporate / Conveyancing

Assist and learn from senior lawyers on the following:

• Legal Opinion Report
• Due Diligence Report
• Share Sale / Share Swap Agreement
• Collaboration / Sponsor Agreement
• Franchise / License Agreement
• Sale and Purchase Agreements (title or without title) – developer, sub sale and auction transactions
• Loan Agreements (title or without title) – end financing, mortgage, SME financing and refinancing
• Discharge of Charge/Receipt and Reassignment/Perfection
• Tenancy Agreements
• Overseeing the stamping and registration processes thereto including at the high court and the land office,
• Photocopying and updating respective files
• Liaising with the dispatch riders
• Prepare invoices and payment vouchers,
• Follow up on the payment of invoices
• Monitor and update clients files promptly
• Ad-hoc assignments as requested

• Preparing Letter of Demand
• Replying to Letter of Demand
• Cause Papers but not limited to Originating Summons, Affidavit in Support
• Assist lawyers in court or via web portal
• Conduct legal research
• Not limited to all of the above
