Summary/key point of the roles: The Supply Chain Executive will oversee and optimize the end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods. This role involves managing procurement, inventory, logistics, and vendor relationships while adhering to company policies and industry standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Handle and manage all invoicing related to supply chain operations, ensuring invoices are accurate and match purchase orders and delivery receipts.
- Coordinate the transportation of products, ensuring accurate selection of transport methods, routes, and delivery timelines.
- Collaborate with logistics providers to ensure transportation costs are within budget and promptly resolve any transportation issues that arise.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams to manage inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and timely restocking to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Conduct regular stock checks and ensure inventory data aligns with system records.
- Monitor and track customer orders to ensure on-time delivery, resolving any issues with order fulfilment.
- Collect and analyse supply chain data, generating reports to support decision-making for management.
- Monitor supply chain performance across various functions, proposing continuous improvement initiatives.

To be successful in this role, you would need to have: -- Bachelor’s degree or higher in logistics, supply chain management, international trade, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the FMCG industry.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, particularly invoicing, warehouse management, and transport arrangements.
- Proficient in using supply chain management software, Excel and SAP.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage relationships with third-party logistics providers.
- Detail-oriented with problem-solving abilities and a strong sense of urgency in addressing issues.
