Lead pipeline design engineer

It develops and utilizes proprietary technology to deliver projects to clients worldwide.

• Support the procurement process by helping with technical requisitions and vendor evaluations.
• Stay current with new developments, technologies, and changes in subsea engineering regulations.
• Perform advanced analyses, such as global buckling and finite element (FE) analysis.
• Liaise with third-party certification bodies to get design verification and approval.
• Manage subsea pipeline projects, overseeing timelines, resources, and engineering.
• Lead the design of subsea pipeline systems, ensuring compliance with international standards (e.g., DNV-ST-F101) and Malaysian regulations.
• Coordinate the creation of design deliverables, including route drawings and material take-offs (MTOs).
• Oversee critical engineering analyses, including stress analysis, route selection, and stability assessments.
• Monitor project progress to meet quality, budget, and deadline targets.
• Collaborate with other teams, including structural, geotechnical, and process engineering.
• Ensure compliance with PETRONAS Technical Standards and Malaysian legal requirements.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mecahnical Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant professional experience in engineering and design with at least 5 years in pipline design
• Possess a deep understanding of industry standards like DNV, ASME, and API, along with advanced analysis techniques.
• Highly skilled in a range of engineering software, including MathCAD, ABAQUS, Ansys, OrcaFlex, Python, and AutoPIPE.
