Account Executive (Receivable/Payable)

Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• 1–3 years of hands‑on experience in AR, AP, or both
• Proficient in accounting/ERP systems and MS Excel
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication
• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
• Knowledge of SQL accounting is preferred
• Experience liaising with major banks and suppliers
• Hardworking, willing to work overtime (if needed), and a good team player

• Generate and send accurate invoices to clients on time
• Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments via email, phone, and reminders
• Apply received payments correctly and reconcile client accounts
• Prepare and maintain AR aging reports
• Resolve billing discrepancies and handle client queries in collaboration with sales or customer teams

• Receive, verify, classify, and enter invoices into the accounting system
• Match invoices to purchase orders or receipts and flag discrepancies
• Schedule and process payments according to terms
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve issues
• Maintain detailed records of transactions and support audits
• Prepare and generate AP-aging Report
• Communicate with vendors and internal teams to answer queries and resolve payment delays
