The Web IT Executive plays a key role in ensuring the quality, consistency, and functionality of our web-based services and platforms. The ideal candidate will contribute to web content management, perform system testing, provide technical support, and liaise with clients for training and system implementation, primarily within a Web App/software environment.
Job Requirements
Education & Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant IT or web support role.
- Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
- Microsoft Office knowledge
- Proficient in website testing methodologies and QA tools.
- Understanding of domain, DNS, and hosting environments.
- Familiarity with email protocols (IMAP/SMTP), account setup, and client-side troubleshooting.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in client-facing environments.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and precision.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Web Content & Data Management
- Maintain and update website content through CMS platforms.
- Input, manage, and validate data entry related to web projects or client websites.
- System Testing & Quality Assurance
- Conduct thorough testing of website systems to ensure functionality, responsiveness, and usability.
- Report bugs, document issues, and follow up with development teams for resolution.
- Client Support & Training
- Provide web system training to clients, including usage guides, content updates, and basic troubleshooting.
- Offer post-launch support and ensure client satisfaction during onboarding and after implementation.
- Plugin Implementation & Configuration
- Install, configure, and test plugins within the Web App/software environment to enhance functionality.
- Monitor plugin compatibility and perform necessary updates.
- Technical Troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to email accounts (e.g., setup, access, sync).
- Diagnose and support problems involving desktop software and basic network settings.
- Domain & Web Hosting Support
- Manage domain configurations, DNS settings, and hosting-related tasks.
- Liaise with hosting providers to resolve technical issues and ensure uptime.
