Procurement and Cost Analyst Executive

Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in procurement, cost analysis, vendor management, logistics coordination, or accounts payable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to highlight cost variances and identify improvement opportunities.
- Experience in costing analysis, supplier performance evaluation, and vendor rate management.
- Good communication and coordination skills to work effectively with vendors and internal departments.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate procurement documentation and records.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP / procurement systems will be an advantage.
- Review submission of key projects pre-job costing to monitor outsource vendors’ service cost and identify items with high-risk of cost overrun.
- Conduct periodical analysis on on-going key projects’ costing and vendors’ performance to facilitate review meeting and identify procurement improvement opportunities.
- Maintain approved vendor rate database and re-evaluate approved rate periodically to ensure pricing compliance with Procurement policies and Purchase Order terms.
- Ensure Purchase Orders are issued in accordance with company Procurement procedures, approved vendor rates, and contractual agreements.
- Verify and approve vendor invoices for key projects against approved rates, contracts, and Purchase Orders (POs), and highlight any cost variances for action.
- Collaborate with Operations and Sales team to expand vendor pool, negotiate vendor rate, evaluate vendor capabilities and finalise onboarding process.
- Conduct periodical audit on vendors’ compliance to the Company standard and perform vendor evaluation to ensure consistent high-performance delivery.
- Ensure compliance of Procurement Department to internal and external quality standards, and licensing requirement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide Management with cost analysis, supplier performance insights, and profitability reporting for cost reduction, key projects or key customers profitability and business units operating cost.
