2D/ 3D Design Engineer (Wastewater_ EPC Projects) New - JAC Recruitment
Our client is well-established Japanese multinational company with a strong presence in environmental engineering is currently hiring 2D/ 3D Design Engineer to support their regional plant projects. The company provide end -to-end EPC solutions, from design and construction to commissioning and consultation for sewage & WWTP to various private industrial factories, private plant supplier, Indah Water and Sewage contractor locally and overseas.
Location to work: Petaling Jaya, Selangor
About the role:You will responsible for preparing detailed 2D and 3D engineering drawings related to plant layout, piping systems and equipment installation. This role involves close coordination with project teams locally and in Japan, supporting tender submission and future regional design tasks.
Job Responsibilities- Primary responsibilities include 3D/2D conceptual engineering, design and detailing of building structure with details of Piping work or Equipment installation
- Communcation with Project Manager in Japan HQ (in English) to understand drawing request based on HQ instruction and client requirement.
- Support tender process by managing dateline and provide quality assurance on drawing deliverables.
- Play as a Hub Designer role in future to support other international branches such as ASEAN region or other oversea region.
- Participate in internal and customer reviews, in any necessary occasion.
- Any ac-hoc drawing task upon request from superior or from Japan HQ.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering
- 5-10 years' experience in 2D and 3D drafting for construction or M&E systems
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit
- Experience in piping design is an advantage
- Strong communication skills in English for cross boarder collaboration
