The alternative legal service offering within an international UK law firm is seeking a Consultant, Legal (1-2 PQE) who is committed to delivering innovative and high-quality legal solutions to their clients, which enable them to outsource work previously done in-house.

What you'll do:
As a Legal Consultant you will play a pivotal role in managing an extensive range of legal work that has been outsourced from global international clients.
The primary responsibilities are:
- Advise, draft and review legal documents and commercial agreements to ensure compliance with internal policies and risk management practices.
- Review and advise on non-standard documents.
- Build relationships and rapport, demonstrating credibility.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Work on your own initiative and taking ownership of tasks, time, and workload by prioritising and managing expectations.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Legal Consultant position will have a commercial and practical outlook coupled with meticulous attention to detail. Their ability to build relationships quickly while demonstrating credibility will be key in this role.They should be confident in communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels. The ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, manage their time effectively, and prioritise their workload is essential.
- Called to the Malaysian Bar with 1-2 PQE and experienced in corporate & commercial work.
- Excellent computer skills, particularly with MS Office and Outlook.
- Commercial and practical outlook.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to build relationships and rapport, demonstrating credibility.
- Confidence in communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work on your own initiative and take ownership of tasks, time, and workload by prioritising and managing expectations.
